Payment Reactivation for Subscription Model

This option is used only for integration partners using the subscription model on how to reactivate a subscription

Ezypay offers automated payment reactivation on subscriptions when the customer has resolved all their outstanding invoice debts. Subscription auto payments can be deactivated when a customer fails to make a payment as part of failed payment handling. Payment reactivation handling can be found under the merchant settings.

For automated payment reactivation to occur, the subscription should adhere to the following:

  • All outstanding past due invoices must be resolved (i.e. either paid or written off)
  • The subscription has a valid payment method token
  • The subscription has not reached its billing end

When a subscription is reactivated, the counter for failed payment attempts is reset to 0.
