Merchant Onboarding

Merchant onboarding is a fundamental step in Ezypay's API services, as all API calls are tied to a specific merchant. Credentials are issued only after a successful onboarding. Below is a summary of the onboarding process:

Merchant completes the application form

Merchants must fill out and submit an application form that gathers the following key information:

  • Business information
  • Fee schedule
  • Settlement details
  • Terms and conditions

The application form must be accompanied by all required supporting documents, as specified by Ezypay.

Risk and compliance check

Ezypay conducts a comprehensive risk and compliance assessment to ensure the merchant’s business complies with regulatory standards and internal requirements. This includes but is not limited to, reviewing the submitted documents and verifying the provided information.

Account setup

After successful risk and compliance verification:

  • The merchant account is configured based on the agreed setup.
  • API credentials are issued and shared with the merchant.
  • If applicable, credentials are also provided to designated integrators for seamless integration.

Timeline

The onboarding process typically takes 3 business days from the submission date of the completed application form - provided all required information and documentation is accurate and complete.
