Integrators have the ability to choose when a subscription needs to be "ACTIVATED" using the "Active a Subscription" API Endpoint. Subscriptions need to be a "PENDING" status in order for the subscription to be "ACTIVATED".

The "Active a subscription" API allows integrator to provide a start date and the payment method token which will be used (must be linked to the customer through the customer id) for the payment plan. If payment method token is not provided during activation, it will fallback to the default payment method of the customer, regardless whether the subscription already has a payment method attached.
